Supermath Day is an opportunity for senior-level students to join us on campus for a day of interactive mathematics and statistics and to experience university life.
We ask that the students be ready for an interactive day, with sessions that will encourage active participation!
Upcoming Supermath Day offerings:
Arrive at the University of Guelph University Centre where you will be welcomed and escorted to a lecture room in the Richards Building. There you will meet and mix with students and teachers from other schools and mathematics and statistics faculty. Juice and light snacks will be provided.
A University of Guelph Mathematics Professor will conduct an interactive mathematics activity. The specific topic of the session will be announced for each Supermath Day and will differ from semester to semester.
Students may bring their own lunches, or purchase lunch from one of many on-campus cafeterias and restaurants.
A University of Guelph Statistics Professor will conduct an interactive statistics activity. The specific topic of the session will be announced for each Supermath Day and will differ from semester to semester.
