New Frontiers In Research - Multi-Disciplinary Research Partnership amongst Four Canadian Universities

UoG Mathematics and Statistics Professor Dr. David Kribs is part of a new research collaboration, the Ottawa-Queen's-Guelph-McMaster (OQGM) Research Network, which aims to develop a novel multidisciplinary and integrated approach to address the problem of strong correlation in Chemistry and Material Sciences and aims to design new tools that are computationally efficient and easy enough for nonspecialists to use to guide their research and enrich their understanding.  The research network has been recognized by the New Frontiers in Research - Exploration NSERC group (https://www.sshrc-crsh.gc.ca/funding-financement/nfrf-fnfr/exploration/e...) and has been awarded $250,000 in funding over the next two years.

As part of their research, the team is seeking to fill several open positions for Ph.D. & Postdoc students.  Please see the link below for additional details.
