Faculty Position Available: Assistant Professor in Computational Statistics, Tenure Track

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure-track (12 months per year) research-intensive faculty position in Computational Statistics at the Assistant Professor level. The position will be in support of the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF) project Food from Thought, Agricultural Systems for a Healthy Planet. The goal of this project is to exponentially increase our ability to leverage Big Data for the benefit of food production and biodiversity at global, landscape and micro scales of research and innovation through strong multidisciplinary research. The Food from Thought initiative will integrate and strengthen the University’s data management and analysis capabilities across our facilities and our partners, and better support and incubate faculty and student innovations.
