ABSTRACT:
We will discuss some results on the higher rank numerical range and its generalization. The study of them are motivated by some connections with quantum error correction. We will also discuss some results on generalized numerical ranges. Co-authors: Pan-Shun Lau, Chi-Kwong Li, Nung-Sing Sze.
