Graduate student Harry Gaebler awarded major scholarship

We are pleased to announce that Harry Gaebler, current Master's student and incoming Doctoral student in Applied Mathematics, has been awarded the doctoral Highdale Farms - Arthur and Rosmarie Spoerri Scholarship in Natural Sciences.

The Highdale Farms Scholarship was established to encourage students to pursue graduate studies in the natural sciences and is awarded to the student with the highest admission average in the natural sciences. The scholarship is made possible through donors Arthur and Rosmarie Spoerri of Nepean, Ontario and will provide Harry with two years of doctoral research funding at the University of Guelph.

Harry received his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Science from the University of Guelph in 2016 and is a current Master’s student in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics. He is supervised by Dr. Hermann Eberl and his research is related to microbial growth in porous media.
